The Language Tree is one of Cornwall’s leading language schools and it was a pleasure to work with them on this video to help promote the school and their ethos.

As their slogan says – ‘Learn more than just a language‘  – and that is the feeling I wanted to capture in this video. The sites and places the students visit, their camaraderie and the fun they have whilst learning in class.

A freezing, frosty morning in St Ives with a low winter sun helped me capture some really cool shots – it was the first time we had all seen frost on a beach! The group of German students were a joy to work with and even braved a dip in the sea for one of the drone shots.

A really fun project!

Simon did some drone and camera footage for Language Tree with our international students here on a study holiday in Cornwall. It was such a pleasure to work with Simon. He was really flexible and responsive to the type of footage we were trying to capture. He has a great eye for catching the moment and really makes people feel relaxed while being filmed. Defo recommend him if you have a creative video project
